I've hit my mid-twenties crisis and I love adventures: both of which have led me to fulfilling a bit of a dream of cycling across the USA, something I've been thinking about for a long time. So I'm very happy that I'm finally calling my own bluff on this one and planning a trip for March-May 2018 from east to west. I'm still through the details but very excited to take on the challenge and the adventure that lies ahead - I'll be riding solo, so I'll be really grateful to any hosts that are kind enough to have me for a night! If only to have somebody to speak to after what might be long days seeing nobody haha...
I'm a keen cyclist although I've never done anything of this magnitude. The longest distance trip I've done is from London to Edinburgh over 9 days (not exactly rocket speed!) but I feel very at home on 2 wheels, I love seeing countries by bike, and I figure this mindset will give me the strength to make it from one ocean to another!
